Yup, it’s officially fall in San Diego!! Technically, fall begins on September 21st, but up until last week, San Diego was still experiencing the 100˚ + heat wave. It’s 64˚ today and officially fall because I just made my first pumpkin loaf of the season!! I’m really excited, to say the least!
A NEVER ENDING SUMMER, COULD THIS BE TRUE? The heat was crazy this past week, to say the least with San Diego heating up to 105+ degrees. I honestly can’t recall the last time it was this hot in October. I am SO envious of everyone who’s been enjoying the fall weather, leaves changing colors, etc. But, I’m excited about the 70-degree weather coming up this week!! So today, I’m bringing fall to you with this nail polish and you can bet I’m sipping on a PSL while typing away. Continue Reading

BECCA Après Ski Glow Collection EYE LIGHTS PALETTE
This is by far one of the holiday launches that I’ve been excited for– the packaging screams winter wonderland, right? The Après Ski Glow Collection consists of a face palette and an eyeshadow palette. As far as I’m aware, this eyeshadow palette is limited edition. I’m splitting this holiday collection into two reviews. For this post, I’ll focus on the eyeshadow palette, and later on this week, I will have a separate review for the face palette.
Today’s post revolves around glosses & I’ve had plenty of time to test these babies out! These were released last October (2016), but ABH is still selling this set on her website and Nordstrom online! ABH created this six-piece lip gloss set for the holidays/ fall. These glosses have been a staple in my makeup kit & I simply wanted to share them with the world! If this looks like something you’d love, then keep reading.
Hii Everyone! Coming to you with a really yummy and vegetarian-friendly soup as the cold weather approaches. Recently, I traveled to Canada for my cousin’s wedding and it was freezing! I mean 36 degrees fahrenheit kind of freezing and was craving this soup! As I live in San Diego, our fall and winter nights can range from 40-65 degrees, not bad in comparison to my peeps along the east coast. Being middle eastern, I grew up eating this soup and I love changing it up here and there to keep things interesting. Also, it’s typical for a middle eastern to have lentil soup in the morning for breakfast, but I prefer to eat soup for lunch or dinner. Keep on reading for the recipe– hope you enjoy! xx
Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a very fun night filled with adventure and good times planned by the lovely Vanessa Balli here in San Diego. We started the afternoon by heading to Nason’s Beer Hall in downtown SD. This was my 1st time at Nason’s Beer Hall and I enjoyed the delicious food and drinks with my fellow bloggers. The location also had life-sized games, SO nostalgic and makes you feel like you’re a little kid again!! I love getting together and meeting others who share a similar passion, whether it be the writing or photography aspect. We are all creators and I find it fascinating hearing about their journey.
