Today’s post revolves around glosses & I’ve had plenty of time to test these babies out! These were released last October (2016), but ABH is still selling this set on her website and Nordstrom online! ABH created this six-piece lip gloss set for the holidays/ fall. These glosses have been a staple in my makeup kit & I simply wanted to share them with the world! If this looks like something you’d love, then keep reading.
Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a very fun night filled with adventure and good times planned by the lovely Vanessa Balli here in San Diego. We started the afternoon by heading to Nason’s Beer Hall in downtown SD. This was my 1st time at Nason’s Beer Hall and I enjoyed the delicious food and drinks with my fellow bloggers. The location also had life-sized games, SO nostalgic and makes you feel like you’re a little kid again!! I love getting together and meeting others who share a similar passion, whether it be the writing or photography aspect. We are all creators and I find it fascinating hearing about their journey.
You’re looking to cross places off your bucket list and the pricing for flights is disappointing, right? I’m sure we’ve all been there. For many of us, the ticket is the bulk of the expense followed by accommodations and travel once you’ve arrived at your destination. As I’m currently traveling in Europe, I’ve been getting questions asking how I went from country to country and was able to travel on a budget. In this post, I plan to give my tips and tricks on how to save money on flights.
And I’m back at it again with another Manicure Monday post, only this time I’m writing about a polish from Essie’s Gel Couture line! Essie launched their Gel Couture line last year in either April or May with 42 colors and a top coat! I’ve been loving off white, beige, and nude polishes during the summer! Continue Reading
1st stop of my Europe Trip is in Munich, Germany. One of my favorite places that I visited was Munich’s main square in the city center, Marienplatz, especially because the architecture was absolutely stunning! It’s such a beautiful and historic city, I highly recommend a pit stop if you’re ever planning to travel to Europe. Continue Reading
Summer is in full effect in San Diego with palm trees and a beautiful breeze. I’ve been switching out my nail polish more often and have recently fallen in love with a polish in my Essie collection. For the most part, I love Essie polishes, although I’ve purchased some that were just too streaky. Mrs. Always-Right, on the other hand, is absolutely beautiful. If I could describe this polish in one word, it would be raspberry. Mrs. Always-Right is a gorgeous rose, yet neutral mauve that is very flattering on my skin tone. This polish is definitely one that I can wear year round!
Initial Thoughts: First off, this polish is part of Essie’s 2016 Bridal Collection. The formula for this polish is very opaque even with one coat of nail polish. Although I still prefer using a base coat, 2 coats of nail polish and a top coat for longer wear time. In these pictures, I’ve only applied 2 coats of polish, although I definitely think I could’ve gotten away with only 1 coat. This is definitely, hands down, one of my FAVORITE Essie polishes! The application was a dream!
