Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in as always!

BLOGGERS NIGHT OUT IN SAN DIEGO

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a very fun night filled with adventure and good times planned by the lovely Vanessa Balli here in San Diego. We started the afternoon by heading to Nason’s Beer Hall in downtown SD. This was my 1st time at Nason’s Beer Hall and I enjoyed the delicious food and drinks with my fellow bloggers. The location also had life-sized games, SO nostalgic and makes you feel like you’re a little kid again!! I love getting together and meeting others who share a similar passion, whether it be the writing or photography aspect. We are all creators and I find it fascinating hearing about their journey.

And I’m back at it again with another Manicure Monday post, only this time I’m writing about a polish from Essie’s Gel Couture line! The Sale You Don’t Want to Miss | Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Beauty, Nordstrom

What’s the Scoop:

Every summer, lo and behold, Nordstrom has their anniversary sale. Sadly, I’m not a cardholder, matter of fact, I don’t even have a credit card. I’m a huge believer of “if I don’t have the money, I’m not buying it!” So I’m an unlucky one who doesn’t get to shop the sale early, but the world hasn’t stopped spinning right? This year, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale runs from July 13-July 20 for cardholders and runs from July 21-August 6, so make that money in the meantime.

Fragrance Review: Kenzo World

Fragrance, Kenzo

Hi Everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week. Today’s post is a review on the fragrance: Kenzo World. This fragrance was released in 2016 and about a month ago, I went to Sephora in need of a new fragrance. I smelled so many but just couldn’t decide on one, so I left without a perfume and stocked up on some makeup!  Fast forward a few weeks and I heard about the site, Octoly for influencers, where Kenzo kindly sent this perfume over for review.

Mani Monday: Essie ‘Mrs Always-Right’

Essie, Manicure Monday

Summer is in full effect in San Diego with palm trees and a beautiful breeze. I’ve been switching out my nail polish more often and have recently fallen in love with a polish in my Essie collection. For the most part, I love Essie polishes, although I’ve purchased some that were just too streaky. Mrs. Always-Right, on the other hand, is absolutely beautiful. If I could describe this polish in one word, it would be raspberry. Mrs. Always-Right is a gorgeous rose, yet neutral mauve that is very flattering on my skin tone. This polish is definitely one that I can wear year round!

Initial Thoughts:  First off, this polish is part of Essie’s 2016 Bridal Collection. The formula for this polish is very opaque even with one coat of nail polish. Although I still prefer using a base coat, 2 coats of nail polish and a top coat for longer wear time. In these pictures, I’ve only applied 2 coats of polish, although I definitely think I could’ve gotten away with only 1 coat. This is definitely, hands down, one of my FAVORITE Essie polishes! The application was a dream!
