Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in as always! I’m back at it again with another Mani Monday post since I know you enjoy them. For the past 2 years, I have been obsessing over Essie… it’s the only polish I wear. I love to buy at least 1 Essie polish a month, and if I skip a month, I end up buying 2. I’ve accumulated 27 polishes thus far & the neutrals are my favorites! If you have any color requests, let me know in the comments & I will gladly go out & buy it to try it!
‘Topless & Barefoot‘ is a beautiful soft beige– a very neutral, pale nude with a subtle pink tone. This is such a beautiful color to wear everyday & I always get compliments when I wear it. It’s this barely there, perfect nude, effortlessly stunning shade & I love how it looks on my lighter skin. On the flip side, I’m sure this color would look amazing on you if you’ve got a nice tan going on or if you’re of a darker skin tone.
I’ve been accustomed to doing 3-4 coats for some polishes like Ballet Slippers, but with ‘Topless & Barefoot’, I only needed 2 coats. I used to only be a french manicure kinda girl & I’ve ventured out since, & this color could definitely be the one I wear on my wedding (far into the future). I’m a hairstylist & MUA, so I love switching up my nail polish to keep things fresh. Plus, I hate chipped nails which forces me to perform an at home mani/pedi service every week!
The wear time for this Essie polish is about 5-7 days without chipping. Everyone always asks about my base coat & top coat– I love the Seche line. I applied one coat of the Seche Clear Base Coat, two coats of ‘Topless and Barefoot,’ and one coat of the Seche Vite Top Coat.
I hope you enjoyed this review & feel free to let me know your favorite Essie polishes in the comments below. xx
