Mani Monday: Essie ‘Stones n’ Roses

Essie, Manicure Monday

Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in as always.
Here is another addition to my Mani Monday posts and the spotlight is on Essie’s: Stones n’ Roses. img_7009img_7014 img_7008 img_6996 This color right here is a beautiful pinky coral which is perfect for both Spring & Summer. I find that the formula was a little thicker than most and it took 1-2 coats– I’ve had some polishes where it takes 2-3 coats and made the process a lot longer, but this one was easier to work with. This color is truly stunning- I wear a lot of black, gray and neutrals and I find that it complements my outfits very well. I paired this color with a base coat and top coat both from Seche Vite for better wear. I painted my nails about 5 days ago and they’re still going strong; the mani you see here in these pictures was done in about 7 minutes, so fairly quick & maybe even a little sloppy. As I’ve mentioned in my other mani posts, I am not one to go to the nail salon for services, I prefer buying polishes & doing them myself. I’m sanitary and hey, practice makes perfect. One day, I’ll be able to paint my own nails like a pro, but for now, this will do 🙂img_6990I am pretty fair in skin tone, yet it looks great on me, but I think it’ll look amazing if you have a tan or are naturally darker than my skin tone. It’s such a beautiful and flattering color.. love it! I hope you enjoyed this review & feel free to let me know your favorite Essie polishes in the comments below. xximg_6998
