L’Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss- Photos & Review

L'Oréal, Make-Up

Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in as always!
Today’s blog post is all about the Infallible Pro Matte Glosses from L’Oréal 🙂IMG_5317

These are the 5 pro matte glosses that I have tried & tested out for the last few months. L’Oréal came out with these lippies earlier this year & I have been reaching towards them recently. I love the formula & found these to be a better alternative to the matte lip products which are very drying. My lips tend to get even dryer if I apply a lip product that dries completely matte. These matte glosses have more of a velvet finish, not completely drying & I love that! I was confused with the labeling at first because it says “matte” and “gloss” — they definitely aren’t 100% matte. I love the cute packaging & have 10 colors to choose from. The shades that are included in this review are: Shanghai Scarlet (308), Rouge Envy (312), Forbidden Kiss (310), Rebel Rose (304), Fuchsia Amnesia (302). IMG_5321 IMG_5327 I really love the applicator on these glosses. It allows for a precise lip application with the pointed tip. IMG_5332~ from left to right ~

Overall, these lippies are affordable, pigmented, moisturizing and creamy– satin texture, almost velvety to the touch. They go on with just one swipe, very quick & easy to apply. The swatches above are NOT edited whatsoever. I didn’t even adjust brightness, contrast, or remove peach fuzz. My goal here is to show you the true application of each gloss. These glosses are not drying on your lips and that’s why I gravitate towards these lip products in my collection. The labeling is slightly confusing.. I couldn’t understand how a lip product can be matte & a gloss at the same time, but nevertheless, it is one of my favorite lip products. They wear nice throughout the day, but I normally remove any lip product before eating because my bottom lip touches my chin & it’s all downhill from there. These lippies are not smudge-proof; they will probably transfer. You can set your lip application with some translucent powder if you want more of a matte finish. Also, these have such a yummy, fruity scent, but if you don’t like scented products… you should pass on these.

PROS: beautiful color selection, pigmentation, affordable, love the applicator!

CONS: not smudge-proof (transfer easily), labeling is confusing.
