The Pendry x Padres x Vanessa Balli

San Diego, San Diego Padres, Sports, The Pendry, Travel

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a very fun night filled with adventure and good times planned by the lovely Vanessa Balli here in San Diego. We started the afternoon by heading to Nason’s Beer Hall in downtown SD. This was my 1st time at Nason’s Beer Hall and I enjoyed the delicious food and drinks with my fellow bloggers. The location also had life-sized games, SO nostalgic and makes you feel like you’re a little kid again!! I love getting together and meeting others who share a similar passion, whether it be the writing or photography aspect. We are all creators and Iย find it fascinating hearing about their journey.

Food Friday, San Diego

Hey Everyone! As many of you know, I like to feature local businesses on my blog on Fridays!
So let’s get back into the swing of things with another FOOD FRIDAY post!
Today we are talking about an acai bowl from the Santee Coffee Corner.

Acai bowls have been trending in San Diego for about a year now… I see more and more smoothie/coffee spots offering to make and sell acai bowls now. Acai is a tropical fruit and it’s normally served in a bowl, rarely in a cup, which is why it’s generated the name “acai bowl.” It looks very much like ice cream or a sorbet, if you will, and let’s just say that it’s a healthier alternative as opposed to a bagel or a breakfast sandwich from McDonald’s, you’re catching my drift, right?ย  Continue Reading
