Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in as always!
Today’s post revolves around glosses & I’ve had plenty of time to test these babies out! These were released last October (2016), but ABH is still selling this set on her website and Nordstrom online! ABH created this six-piece lip gloss set for the holidays/ fall. These glosses have been a staple in my makeup kit & I simply wanted to share them with the world! If this looks like something you’d love, then keep reading.
The packaging is beautiful as always & contains 6 deluxe tubes of opaque (highly pigmented) glosses. These aren’t sheer whatsoever, so if you’re not into bright & shiny glosses, you won’t like these… #goboldorgohome. As for the scent, they smell like cupcakes/ vanilla frosting. The glosses have a doe foot, sponge tip applicator. The wear time for me was about 4-5 hours without eating, however, I was drinking out of a straw & the lip gloss help up very well. I used a few of these on my clients for PROM last June & most loved the wear & comfortability. I’m incredibly impressed with the formula because they aren’t sticky & are comfortable to wear.
from left to right:
Raisin – Soft pink-y brown
Amber – Peachy beige
Berry – Reddish purple
Rum – Warm reddish brown
Carla – Sangria
Maple – Iridescent coppery brown
Overall, I think this lip gloss set is a great value & I prefer sets because I have six colors for $28 vs. two colors for say $24. This makes a great gift & it’s amazing for artists; I actually purchased the lip gloss set for my makeup kit as the holiday season is approaching. I wanted to be more on trend & these colors are simply stunning & I love that I can mix colors to custom create shades!
PROS: 6 (new shades), pigmented, long-wearing, comfortable to wear, no sticky feeling on the lips & great price point.
FTC: I purchased this lip gloss set from the ABH website. I’m not obligated to write this review, nor do I get paid to do so– I speak the truth and nothing but the truth. Thank you for reading. Xo!
I hope you enjoyed my review!! Did you pick it up the set? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading & until next time! Xoxo
